It has been an emotional week in All Elite Wrestling. Adam Copeland, the Hall of Famer known to generations of fans as Edge, has announced his retirement, and AEW CEO Tony Khan has addressed what comes next.

Copeland's Retirement Announcement

Copeland is one of the most decorated wrestlers of his era. He became a megastar in WWE, retired in 2011 because of a neck injury, then made one of the most remarkable comebacks in wrestling history years later. He brought that second act to AEW, where he worked under his real name.

Khan spoke about the retirement announcement this week, reflecting on what Copeland has meant to the company and its fans.

Christian Cage Injured

The news is harder to take because Copeland's longtime friend and tag team partner, Christian Cage, is dealing with injuries. Khan addressed Cage's condition as well. The pair, who rose together in the late 1990s, are one of the most famous duos the business has ever seen.

The Rock vs. Tony Khan

The rivalry between AEW and WWE keeps simmering. A new report says some within WWE are still feeling the "sting" over comments Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson made about AEW and Tony Khan. The Rock is a TKO board member, which gives his words extra weight.

AEW's Roster Keeps Growing

Despite the losses, AEW keeps adding talent. Austin Creed and Kofi, who debuted at All In, are on long-term deals and say they can adapt to any style: "Kofi and I are very much chameleons."
