Newer to golf. Picked up the sport a little over a year ago to help drop weight. Currently down over 100 pounds since May 2025. Today I got my first ever hole in one. 110 yards to the pin. One bounce, hit the pin, and went in. You can see the divot near my left foot. I love this game. This feeling is unmatched. Can't wait to walk another 150 rounds of golf.

Background: PGA Tour

The PGA Tour (stylized as PGA TOUR by its officials) is an organizer of professional golf tours in North America. It organizes most of the events on the flagship annual series of tournaments also known as the PGA Tour, the PGA Tour Champions (age 50 and older), the Korn Ferry Tour (for professional players who have not yet qualified to play on the PGA Tour), and PGA Tour Americas. The PGA Tour is a nonprofit organization headquartered in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida, a suburb southeast of Jacksonville.

Originally established by the Professional Golfers' Association of America (PGA of America), it was spun off in December 1968 into a separate organization for tour players, as opposed to club professionals, the focal members of today's PGA of America.
